The Shipping Coordinator / Dispatcher position is a full-time position with a guaranteed 45 hours per week (Monday through Friday). Eligible for our monthly incentive program.

What are the responsibilities?

It's an important hands-on role where you'll be key to giving Locke Supply's customers an outstanding experience.

This position is responsible for coordinating daily outbound deliveries and supporting drivers using Samsara Software Systems. This role ensures orders are released, routes are dispatched efficiently, and deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

• Release customer and transfer orders for pulling and shipping.
• Dispatch and monitor delivery routes using Samsara.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day regarding routes, delays, and issues.
• Monitor delivery progress, ETAs, and compliance.
• Ensure proof of delivery (POD), photos, and notes are properly captured.
• Coordinate with warehouse, Will Call, and Inventory teams.

What are the requirements for a Shipping Coordinator/ Dispatcher?

• Dispatching, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred
• Familiarity with Samsara or similar fleet systems a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Working conditions for this role are in an office and warehouse setting.
