Job Description
Cowan Engineering Group (CGE) is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to assist our Land Survey team with the compilation and analysis of GIS data. While we prefer experience with Autodesk Civil 3D or ESRI ArcGIS, we will train the right candidate!
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and communicate with project managers, field crews and clients
- Build 3D surface models
- Write legal descriptions
- Prepare exhibits and sketches
- Research and review legal descriptions and title information
- Reading and interpreting maps and other GIS data
- Draw maps using automated software
- Perform a variety of drafting and mapping operations utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
Job Requirements
Who We're Looking For
- Prefer experience in Autodesk Civil 3D, ESRI ArcGIS OR the ability and willingness to learn
